Roberta Galvão: Accredited Exercise Physiologist (ESSA)
Roberta holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and 6 years of clinical experience as an Exercise Physiologist. She has great interest in the role of exercise in preventing and managing chronic diseases, the promotion of physical activity and sports performance given her past experiences as an elite athlete at Olympic International level.
During the last 6 years, Roberta worked with the team of AEPs from the Vario Wellness Clinic at Edith Cowan University and gained extensive experience in exercise assessment, prescription involving a variety of groups and chronic conditions. Roberta has also delivered clinical exercise to a broad range of patients at different ages treated as part of the national enhanced primary care (EPC) plan including DVA or WorkCover patients. Roberta recently joined the NextMove team of Physiotherapists to further experience in her field of work and to continue providing excellence in exercise prescription across different patient populations.
